When the Davises go to a restaurant, Scott breaks into their home and reads Mickey's latest diary entry. Her husband arrives and fights with Scott, and when Mickey comes to her husband's aid, Scott leaves. He tells Scott, who, visibly agitated, goes to see Mickey, asking her to leave the city with him, revealing he was the one who stole her diary. They snoop around the building used by the robbers and find out Scott is the thief who stole his belongings.īuddy sees Ray there. Ray decides to follow Scott with his friend and publisher Marty Morrison ( George Wendt). Scott becomes more and more tense when Mickey starts asking questions about him and his past. The forbidden romance soon blossoms into a passionate sexual relationship, as Ray becomes suspicious.ĭuring another robbery, Buddy kills a policeman who spotted them. Scott uses his inside knowledge to seduce her, using the pretext of needing someone to re-design his apartment, and posing as a school supply company CEO. The diary is full of her fantasies and dreams, so Scott plans to turn these into reality. Scott reads the diary and discovers that the wife, Mickey, an interior designer, yearns for a more interesting life. One night, one of the items Scott takes is a diary belonging to the wife (Barbara Williams). Buddy keeps an eye on Mickey and Ray Davis, a rich married couple, while Scott robs their home. Overall it’s a nice, clean scent that warms into a muted mix of Rogue and Thieves’ Rosin.Įdited slightly to reflect changed opinion.A burglar, Scott Muller (Steven Bauer), teams up with Buddy Calamara (David Caruso), a valet at a high-society restaurant. While it’ll never replace Rogue for me, it could be a nice alternative when I don’t want to smell like I’ve spent a week in a leather jacket, but still want a leather based scent. For a leather-lover like myself, this the moment when the perfume goes from “pretty, but not me” to “may buy full bottle”.

It remains muted and not as powerful as BPAL’s leather note, but the chilly pine and cypress suddenly falls into the background and the warm scent of old, well worn leather with a trace of skin musk suddenly comes out to play. Disappointing in that regard, since I do love leather, but I still enjoy the green scent of this and would be interested in seeing what it’d be like layered with BPAL’s Rogue.ĭrydown: AH-HA! There’s the leather I love.
Not much in the way of throw and surprisingly (and sadly) I don’t seem to amp SaraWen’s leather note like I do BPAL’s. Wet: I can haz more pine? Yes! Yes I can! Lots of pine at this stage, with plenty of cypress and a trace of something sweet that’s probably the sugared musk. I get plenty of the woods and maybe a hint of the musk, but none of the leather, which is a shame since I love leather notes. In The Bottle: Pine! It’s a dry, almost dusty pine that makes me think of BPAL’s hemp note. Inspired by the flirtatious character Zevran from Dragon Age, this balanced unisex fragrance will have lords or ladies (or both) swooning over you! Come hither! Exotic honeysuckle blended with cedar and cypress woods, leather, and sugared musk are the main notes in this sexy fragrance.
